Catch the problems before the distributor does
A distributor rejection wastes days. PublishForge runs six pre-press checks before every export and flags anything that would cause a rejection.
Image resolution check — flags any image below 300 DPI at its print size.
Font embedding check — lists every font in the PDF and flags any that are not embedded.
Colour space check — validates RGB vs CMYK against the selected distributor profile.
File size estimate — warns if the PDF is approaching the distributor’s maximum file size limit.
Authors generate ARCs because they are about to publish. The interior PDF and cover JPEG that PublishForge already holds from pre-press are exactly the files an ARC package needs.
